Hi Peter,
If you use Microsoft products such as Works or Office there are several inventory programs/templates available on www.msn.com. The Works Suits is pretty inexpensive while the current Office is $200 or more.

But they work pretty well. Naturally they're not designed to manage auto parts - the few I looked at were Household Security type templates - which with a little imagination probably can be modified to do what you want.

Keeping meticulous records can pay huge returns, but the Organization can be a bear!

If the above isn't your "cup 'o tea" do a Google for freeware or shareware for Inventory programs.

Have a nice weekend -

Subject: [MBZ] Parts Database

Has anyone got a parts database running for their merc parts? I
maintain mine on Excel but its becoming a bit overwhelming with some
600parts listed I have purchased with Price history and inventory
levels. I'd be keen to hear from someone who has bought /de signed a
suitable database.
PEter
