My pump in the '83 coupe is leaking out the shaft. Anyone done this rebuild? Is
it as simple as getting a pully puller and pulling the pully and replacing a
seal. I have an old spare pump but this is the second leaky pump I've
encountered and would like a long term fix if it's easy to do. TIA

I've been using 15W40 oil in my "fleet" except for a sludge-prone VW.
I put Delo 400 in my 300e and soon after saw oil pressures drop from
about 1.2 bar to 0.3 at warm idle(!). After replacing with Delvac
1300 (dino) its back up to 1.2 bar at the LOWEST, and thats when hot,
stop and go driving in drive.
Anyone else seen this?
