Does anyone know, or have the ability to look up the color codes for the
radio wiring for an 87 300TD? I'd like to figure out what wires are

Brown is ground, gray is dash illumination. Black is hot? Blue
is antenna, red/yellow is clock power. This from memory.

Also new radios want a terminal 30 connection. This is un-switched 12 v or a battery-direct connection. There does not appear to be any red (30) wire
available in the radio opening or under the shifter console area.

An '87 would have had a factory radio that required an always-hot
wire. If it's not there somebody has butchered it out already.
Look for red with a yellow tracer.
