Actually, "kilogram" is a mass measurement that corresponds to a
"slug" in the silly old english system. A "pound" is a force
measurment and technically can't be converted to "kilogram", but can
convert to "Newton". Therefore "pounds" can convert to "kilograms"
only when gravity (or acceleration) acting on the mass is "earth,
sea-level, normal".

Anyway, to convert between lb-ft and Nm:
1 Nm = 0.73756 lb-ft
1 Nm = 8.851 lb-in.
