Steve: I did the upgrade two years ago. Install new glow plugs, throw away the toaster wires (actually, I sold mine on eBay), wire per directions, disregard anything involving putting in a new relay, and look forward to winter.

I purchased a kit from Rusty but the instructions are describing a series installation where my car has a parallel setup.
