Not sure if you can see the drain holes - you'd have to stand on the door frame and peer horizontally to the back while shining a light into the dark area. But trust me - there IS a hole in each side recess between the roof and the sliding panel. I forget where the water exits but it is probably somewhere near the rear axle.
