While MA is not as small as RI, compared to many of the states
further west, it doesn't seem big enough for lots of sub-regions.

I don't think there are enough listers in Nebraska to bother
trying to map them.... *smile*

And in regards to size, NE's _short_ dimension is about the same
as MA _long_ dimension. But I'm not from TX, so I don't
necessarily thing that big is better - why, just a quick look at
CA is pretty convincing!!
