While MA is not as small as RI, compared to many of the states
further west, it doesn't seem big enough for lots of sub-regions.

I don't think there are enough listers in Nebraska to bother
trying to map them.... *smile*

And in regards to size, NE's _short_ dimension is about the same
as MA _long_ dimension. But I'm not from TX, so I don't
necessarily thing that big is better - why, just a quick look at
CA is pretty convincing!!

This weekend I might be going to look at an '85 300D. According to the owner it
drove great last fall, then wasn't started for a few months and now struggles
above 40mph.
I'm thinking water/algae in the fuel and a shot of cleaner and new fuel filters
should get it going again.
The pictures look good, very clean, no obvious rust.
She's asking $1500, I'm thinking if it looks in person like the pictures I'll
offer $1000 and see what happens.

And you probably have. I'll chime in for Florida. My sister lived in Ft.
Walton Beach [not quite at the tip of Fl], my folks in Ocala [middle of the
state], and the in-laws lived in the lower keys. It was a 1,000 mile drive
to hit all three - further than from where we lived in Indiana to the FL
border. Square miles are down as the state is thin [max 80 miles from the
ocean no matter where you are], but is is a long drive.
