I thought about the ether possibility too. So would this 6 cylinder be a "rodbender" ? Have wiring harness problems? Any other common issues?
No rodbender. No wiring harness problems. Ac evap is a PITA to change. '87 300TD's are one of the "Holy Grails" of Mercedes dieseldom. It is the only year diesel 124 wagons were imported. It is also the only year that particular engine was imported in the 124 chassis. Very powerful.
