Hybrids are a joke. They are sold as the solution to the problem. They only get that good mileage in stop and go traffic. Highway they get worse. Factor in the higher cost, and when the batteries wear out, you are way behind on what you would save in fuel. When the batteries do need to be replaced, might as well throw away the car
