I believe Mobil Dexron is a dino based ATF - the Mobil website had nothing for "Mobil 3".
Check - http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/home/homepage.aspx
Also, the Mobil 1 ATF Fully Synthetic is very clearly labeled - not possible to mistake synthetic for dino IMHO-

Subject: [MBZ] another ATF question

Is Dexron Mobil 3 a synthetic? The service advisor at the dealer nearby
said that's what they use for the 300D 2.5t.. My Mobil station Indy went
out of business.

TIA
