You can check those switches with a VOM, see if they are open or closed
as they are supposed to be (or not).

aux fan to run whether the ac was on or not.
But, as usual, MB neglected to ask me when they were designing these fine
cars. If only they'd ask me - or better yet, this list - could have helped
them fine-tune the design. ;-).
