Dave,
wouldn't drive it that way too long. The tranny can overheat real
quick at a stoplight.

Well, the thunderstorm passed over so I went back out to try and get the

Now I know I need to lube the throttle linkage as it sticks, and the idle
seems high (1500 rpm). The rpm does drop to 800 or so when I put it in gear.

I looked quick under the hood, and didn't see an idle control valve like I
thought it would have (as on the 420sels I have owned). Anyone know what
controls idle on this, and what the proper RPM should be at idle?

Thanks,

Dave Wakin
