Modern US diesels are under-rated for pickup use (so the frame doesn't bend up like a pretzel and the tranny lasts most of the warrenty), so it's very easy to get LOTS more hp from them (double in some cases). Just re-program the computer to deliver more fuel.

Reduces the already pitiful milage that much more, though.

K&N lives on -- won't do any more for you on a diesel than on a gasser.
