My boss has had DirecTV for a year or so.  AFAIK, pretty much all the
systems are 2-way now.  But, DirecTV(Hughesnet) sucks because of they're FAP
(Fair Access Policy).  He gets to download 200mb in 24 hours.  After that it
drops to dialup speed.  There are more expensive plans but they still seem
to suck pretty bad if you were, you know, like actually going to use your
connection to watch a movie or download anything or basically anything
besides flip through plain web pages...

He's getting Dish Network's service (WildBlue) in about a week.  Looks to be
a lot better.  Something like 7-17GB/month and if you exceed it you still
get 128k...  I'm thinking about trying to get my parents set up with that
too since they are currently paying like $50 for a second phone line and
dial-up accesss and due to their distance out, they can't connect at more
than about 21K...
