Theres lots of time when winter is the trucking time of choice. Lots of logging takes place in the winter for instance. Not only are the logging roads easier to use but the skidders and other logging equipment can get to the trees easier.

In most places the transportation work is done when the weather is fairest - up there they work only when the weather is the coldest!
