Hi Ken, If at all possible, I suggest you try to put the IP back where it was when you started changing things. There's a specific procedure to check the chain timing - send me your address and I'll send it to you on a CD. While a diesel is not rocket science it does require a controlled, specific way of doing things and you must know the details of what you are doing. The IP is not something that takes kindly to "playing with".
