There are places that will fix broken alloys, I don't know if that includes "bent" ones or not. I might find a second opinion, or do a test yourself. Jack up a wheel, put something stout next to it with a little stick just touching the rim or tire, then spin it. See how much it is "bent." I think you might find the tire shop to be FOS.
