Howdy - Our Chiuahuah's (2 of them) love to go everywhere we go - one doesn't like riding in the car a lot, but she likes staying home even less. The other one (weighs all of 2.5#s) likes to ride in on the rear hat shelf - I don't let her stay for long since it's dangerous, but sometimes she sits back there while we're in the neighborhood - it's hilarious to watch her lean into the turns. Also, I'm sure some people have mistaken her for one of those head-bobing toys that sit on the hat shelf - until she moves and surprises them.
