i don't like leaving the country. in fact, there are very few places i actually travel to
1. blue ridge mountain area. home of mountains and lakes and rivers and drew the wood guy will make lunch when you get back. pigeon forge very family friendly. 2. rockland county, new york. cheap lodging still available, yet within easy distance of both NYC and catskills. stone's throw from montvale, nj and jaime. 3. hollywood beach, florida. home of thomas youngman and my mom. once pretty run down, the place has made a comeback in recent years, yet still more budget minded than trendy. beachside parking not difficult to find outside of peak tourist season. these place plus whatever you pass getting to them from atlanta is all the world travel i'm interested in. pretty cosmopolitan, huh?
