Federal law has some nasty fine for venting refrigerant, even R134A. The funny thing is, the feds allow R134A to be sold in 12oz spray cans for blowing dust off stuff when you're too lazy to fire up a vacuum. I fail to see how the stuff becomes too dangerous to vent just because it has been mixed with PAG oil.
