Thing is here, the tags are not expensive, but you have to insure the 
vehicle before you can get a tag on it. Therefor, I have one tag that I can 
switch between several MB's.  They are all MB;s so they really dont know the 
difference unless they decide to check the VIN.  Never had a problem (knock 
on wood).  If it ever did happen I would just say, gee ocifer, I have so 
many cars I must have got the plates mixed up.  No, Im not going to put a 
chevy plate on my MB though.
