I have no idea... I think it was just a worst case thing (I hope!) since I can imagine a lot of people getting pissy about it costing $400 more than an estimate. For normal stuff thats probably not a problem (replacing bent up bumpers, etc), but this problem they won't really know how long till they get the window out. Next time I go back there I'll ask them what all they plan on taking off (I don't think the trim that goes up the side of the window down the rest of the car is removable is it?)
