I'll take the first $1500 for it. There's an '82 300TD on CL here in Portland for $1650 with head gasket problems (probably needs a new engine but possibly not). I've seen it creep down from $1950 during the past few weeks. It's awefully tempting and would be more so if I had a place to work on it, worst case scenario, to pull the engine and install another one. Maybe someone should patch it up and limp it over to Mike's place, install the engine and tow the parts car back home, a right coast engine in a left coast body.
