I have abook that goes over the history if the 600 - a truely awesome car. 
The windows are raised and lowered Hydraulically - silent movement up an 
down.  *Everything* was built in a bigger scale, even the hood star.  They 
also keep wood samples at the factory like used in each 600 so the *exact* 
woodgrain can be matched should a repair part be needed.   Other parts like 
leather seat components are kept "just in case".

It's powered by the 6.3L engine IIRC.  There were several bodystyles - SWB 
coupe, LWB Coupe and Laudelet -- like the Pope rides in.
