That's exactly why I chose the 45 ACP because it's a big, slow bullet. A 45 ACP has less penetration than even a 9mm. No-one has any business shooting a magnum anything in a neighborhood, even in self defense.
I have a 44 Magnum too - a Ruger Blackhawk. It's a great weapon to shoot for fun & to deer hunt with, but that's just about it.
