I doubted that, so I looked it up in the two stroke engine table at http://www.vsaab.com. Turns out the 850 engine from the Monte Carlo was used in the 1966 and 1967 Sonett II (kind of an ugly car, but I'd still like to have one, simply because it's bizarre. The 850MC engine was rated at 60hp (SAE gross, I'm sure).
