OK, now I'm really going down the toilet. I've spotted a nice '72 280SE 4.5. The W108/9 is my favourite MB design of all time. I gather the 4.5 engines are, in principle, indestructible. I thought I heard rumblings about chains, but I think that's on the M116 3.8L engine, isn't it? But what about that pesky D-Jet injection system...
