Is the market still as inflated (or at least as hyper-inflated) as it
was say a year ago?

I'm seeing cars at much lower prices than last year.   Many have scars
from "free fuel" people dumping in straight waste oil, and given cars
showing 20+ years of wear and aging there is simply little real value
left.
