I could get a ratchet a a piece of 10mm allen on it as well, but could never get enough torque on it to break it loose. They are tight! Finally after messing with it for a few hours, I got a piece of pipe to push up on the end of the ratchet. The pipe allowed me to take a better position and deliver a bit more oomph. Broke loose pretty easy.
