Local dealer quoted me $140 for a rod, then charged me $190 when I went to pick it up. I replaced 3 lifters and a few bolts and got to buy lots of new tools that I'll never use again. Overall it was a good experience. Cylinders were okay. But I know it is a ticking time bomb because there was no way to grind off enough metal to match the weight of the other rods. Probably should have replaced all of them - but there are about 20 other things that should have been replaced as well which would have cost $1000's more. When it finally dies I will put in a new engine.
