Certainly algea is one avenue that still needs improvement on yet posses a
   strong possibility.  However, there are also limitations with algae that
   hopefully research will help alleviate.

   My point of interest for biodiesel is to utilize community based resources.
   I cannot even recall how many times I have been offered soy at a very good
   price - but lets review the offer a little more closely.  Lets see the soy
   is grown in South America shipped to the US via ocean going tankers and then
   shipped closer to me by rail and finally delivered to me by truck.  In my
   opinion that makes absolutely NO SENSE!

   Palm oil is great.  IF it is local, currently grown, harvested and utilized
   commodity.  However, to cut down forests to plant more crop only defeats the
   purpose of sustainability in my thought process.
