It is funny how some colors stand the test of time and others become very 
dated. The golds and avocado greens of
the 70's have not really stood the test of time like some colors do. We still 
have an avocado green refrigerator in
the basement. Don't mind the color but wouldn't want it in the kitchen now.

Sometimes if the vehicle gets old enough, the color starts to look good again. 
I have a 68 Chevy pickup that is
light blue. I can't say I have ever really liked the color and for a long time, 
I planned to paint it a darker
blue. Now, I wouldn't do that. I guess it grew on me because now I do not think 
the truck would look quite right in
a newer color.

That is a color only an owner can love.

My '77 is that color. It is affectionately called "the Mustard Mobile" by my
kids.
