>From a Saab mailing list I'm on: We are in process of installing all "new" carpets in Project Lisa, the 1974 Sonett III that our club is refurbishing. The carpet pieces have been selected as the best available from our several parts cars, but most of the pieces do have varying amounts of color fading from sun exposure here in Colorado.
Based on his prior experience with a carpet paint product, Bruce Harbison suggested SEM Color Coat aerosol so we ended up doing a match with #15173 Camel being the selected color. I sprayed two coats on all the pieces today with very good results using the mfg suggested process of nylon brushing the carpet after each coat. They look great - very close to original color - and will be installed at our next work party. For those of you with fading carpets in your Sonett III go to <http://www.sem.ws> for detailed information .... about $15 for a 12 oz can, more that enough to do one car. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
