You are assuming that the actual tire diameter matches the spec given by the "size". I have seen examples of the same size tire from different manufacturers placed side-by-side, and have seen up to an inch in diameter difference. Have Firestone SHOW you that they are the same, or just buy the proper size (205/65-15).

Almost 4% difference will be noticeable on the speedo. > > I suggest you look at the brands/sizes in question at tirerack.com and > check the revolutions per mile for each. > Mitch. > > > _______________________________________ > http://www.okiebenz.com > For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ > For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: > http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com > -- OK Don, KD5NRO Norman, OK "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics." -Benjamin Disraeli and/or Mark Twain '90 300D, '87 300SDL, '81 240D, '78 450SLC, '97 Ply Grand Voyager _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
