I'm about to replace the thermostat on my little buddy 190d 2.2 manny "Billy" won't warm up past 50c. I call him billy because he climbes like a goat, this being my first diesel (I'm hooked already) I'm amazed how hard it is to lug him down, I've done lots of t-stats on Detroit v8s right up front on top. when I locate this one I plan to open the drain plug down by the tow hook, drain the radiator of yellow juice, replace the tstat (with valve on top)and refill the reservoir. My question is vapor lock do I need to worry about starting up with empty radiator (full reservoir)what am I missing? Why does everything get more complicated the older I get. The more I learn the more I realize how little I know. Thnx in advance, Tony
