Thats the kind of recommendation I'd look for on a $150 compressor...

Hmm, now I need the wife to not pay attention for a weekend so I can sneak down 
to RI and snag one. Maybe get a chance to check out Dwight's car at the same 
time.

I just bought the 220V version of that one at my local store for $149
 plus
$30 for the three-year no-questions-asked replacement guarantee.
  Seemed
like about the best deal I could find.  It's not too loud---although I
 plan
to build it into its own little "closet" in my new shop with a couple
 of
layers of plywood to make it even quieter---and doesn't even run that
 often
with the big tank unless you are really going crazy with the air
 wrench.
