1985 300D The amount of vacuum that was in the tank... OY! I can understand how the previous tank was collapsed to 1/2 it's volume. I just can't figure how the vent is stopped again as it was just clear. Wonder if it's hurt to leave the fuel filler cap slightly open until I get a chance to check it out?
(Sure can't afford to crunch another tank!)
