Mobile is in Alabama, its Mobil.

Yeah I always use ATF and frequently (usually?) its Mobil 1. My 190D has a 
replacement pump thats still on its "cleanout" change of regular ATF.
One time Marshal chided me for changing the PS fluid too often. I was replacing 
it (or at least whats accessable in the pump) at every oil change. I was doing 
the filter once a year.

Now I replace fluid once a year, filter every other year. The fluid looks just 
as clean as it did with more frequent changes.

Note if you've got a pump with really horrible fluid in it now I'd expect it to 
leak on replacment. The pump that was in my 190D when I got it was full of 
brown metallic flaky crap. After a couple months with clean fluid it started 
leaking...

A replacement pump was cheap and easy to do.

I have been using the power steering fluid in the 'blue bottle' in my
 1985 
300sd however I use the Mobil syn ATF in the Tyranny ..Has any one used
 the 
Mobile syn ATF in the power steering and have you had good luck with it
 ??
