I have been unsuccessful at repairing my temp sensor. It behaves like the aspirator fan is bad. (it has been replaced and is functioning) I reads what appears to be the temperature of the sheet mettle on the car. (Exterior temperature influenced by the sun, my cart is painted dark metallic charcoal grey)
At first I thought that the hose was blocked (spider webs????) I used a shop vac on it and this did not fix the problem. The shop vac did produce noticeable suction at the sensor through the hose when applied at the fan end. I have not yet removed the temp sensor, trufully I dread trying to remove it I have read the WKI and am a bit confused by it and I don't want to trash the interior. Any ideas??
