When I drive with my daughter, we have a game. When I see someone do something stupid I make a prediction of the driver's, uh, characteristics. She chastises me for being "---ist" of some sort. Then when we get to where we can see the driver's characteristics, I am 90+% correct in my predictions. I then gloat, and she has to acknowledge begrudgingly that there might be some accuracy to my "---ist" stereotyping. As she is a new driver I view this as a pre-emptive assessment technique that can allow one to predict stupidity before it will most likely happen.
