I find most English and Irish beer about 5%, German beers I drink are 5-8%, and some of the Dutch are 5-10%. Italian beer I've had was 5%, and my only comment will be, glad they make good wine. Haven't had any, but I'm told Indian beer will land you on your backside pretty fast. I think a lot of the US beer is 4%, but when brewed here under license, it's usually brewed to 5%.
