but has a hint of much hidden rust I remember Marshall saying that hidden rust in a W116 is bad. Rust can hide in so many places, and once it gets to the structure, it's a gonner. I wouldn't mind having a nice Diesel W116 (well, at least as nice as my 300SD W126). You know how I am with Mercedes Diesels, at least the ones with 5 or 6 cylinders (the 1972 220D being the exception).
