The older cars may have more options, but they are older, and older things
tend to break more often than newer things in general.  Headlight washers
are great, not so much for dirt, but work wonderful if you live where they
heavily salt the roads.  Mind you, I'd trade headlight washers and memory
seats for more or less the same car, 10 years newer, and with lower miles,
especially if you plan to keep it awhile.  If cared for, the gassers will go
a long time with little more than regular servicing.
