You go Rolf !!!! I'll vote for you :) Here in South Carolina I live near Shaw AFB. Every time I go on that base it p_ _ _ ...es me off more and more. Having to drive past block after block after block of empty base housing. All in good condition and now seeing contractors paid to demolish them!!!!!
Meanwhile they could easily change the fence lines and sell these houses (off base with the fence change) to poor working class people or even leave the fences and sell them to poor retired people. But NO! Our government would rather down size our military - force those in service to be held over - thus get out of the service as soon as they possibly can instead of making a career out of it which the leaves the remaining military over worked and our own shorelines un protected. Gee, what was it the reports say our military was doing during the 9/11 attack instead of being scrambled to protect our own shores (Wonder if there is any logic behind that strategy but that's another story) Then pay contractors to destroy perfectly good housing...
