I think most pressure washers advertise how many gallons per minute they put
out. In should equal out so you will
need some manner of delivering 2 or 3 gallons per minute or whatever the rate
is to the intake side. Don't know
whether that can be accomplished by gravity if the tank is high enough or if
you need some sort of pump in line on
the intake side of the pressure washer.

I am sort of wondering about something similar. I want to take the pressure
washer out to the lake this spring. The
water at the lake is pumped out of the lake and up a hill to the cottage.
Pressure at the pump is 50# or more but
not up at the cottage. I am wondering if the amount of water available will be
sufficient for the pressure washer.
I have been wondering about whether I might need to have a resevoir of some
sort (a barrel) at the cottage end and
a second pump to bring the pressure back up to something more usable. Also
wonder about running a larger hose from
the pump up to the cottage. Volume may be more of an issue than pressure.

Time will tell.

I tried it one time to pull water out of a 5gallon jerry can.? It did not
work.? Elevating the can did not help.?
It seems like it should work.? I hope we hear from someone who had success.

Anyone know if its required to have pressure on the intake or if I can
just run a hose to some 55gal rain barrels I have? The rain barrels are
great, fill up in one decent rain on avg, highly recommended for those
of us in drought country.
