It's nice to hear a cheap car story that may very well have a happy ending! Anything that you get for $300 that drives home (even just bearly) is quite a victory! I wouldn't mind finding something like that if only parking at my place were unlimited! Speaking of radiator problems, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get one for my '83 300SD since it's been pached by a PO. It isn't leaking and shows no signs, but I would sure hate to have a good running car go down and possibly do major damage and leave us stranded on the side of the road when I could have prevented it.
