I agree that an email based solution is the right answer. I've belonged to
other forums & don't have time for them. If this list were forum based, I
would not be a member.

Hear, hear!  Gnus is a great solution too.  I used to use rmail in
Emacs for non-web email, not sure why I stopped... maybe I'll go back.
