That's his biggest attraction. 
He took the oath of office in 2003, and missed out on the whole fiasco
with the Patriot Act and Operation Enduring Freedom. Since then, he's
avoided voting on a lot of potentially controversial stuff, so he can
claim to be for 'change', because he never voted for 'status quo'. 

People like me who say "but, aside from graduating from Harvard Law,
what has he *DONE* in his life?" get ignored. The President of These
United States does not have the option of refusing to ever make a
decision or take responsibility for anything. 

The best part is that the same people who think everything will be
wonderful if we elect wonderboy to the White House respond to the criticism
above by saying that the President isn't really in charge of anything
anyway. 

Which is it? The next President will turn this country around, or it doesn't
matter if the next President bothers to do his job? Too many Osama
supporters
want to claim both.
