I had an SV650S in my garage until Saturday. My friend kept it there all winter.
I rode it a couple times, real fun bike.

I'm absolutely FRANTIC to find a tach mount oil seal for my CB900f. Anybody
know of a place that might have hard to get Honda parts?
Its amazing since apparently this is a quite common leak. So far AFAIK the only
place to get this seal is in a $170 full gasket set...
I hate to spend $170 for a 1" diameter seal.

Aye, I am no longer allowed to ride (got the scars to prove it) until
the kids are in college (I'll be damned if I wait that long). I had
 been
working on restoring a 67 Kawa Avenger, got what a beautiful bike it
would have been. Sold it to buy a parts W123. Drum brakes are scary.
I've had a variety of newish bikes, vf500, vfr750, cbr600, sv650. Sv650
was by far the best. A little to small and the suspension was a weak up
front but it was just plain fun. The VFR was a great bike but a little
to heavy. Still would love to have an older BMW or cafe racer. Disc
brakes would be a requirement.
